Open Frame Transformer
The series of Open Frame (EI) transformers proposed by TIYAN are made using a vast range of high quality materials, which guarantee this product greater efficiency and reliability in the long term.
The series mainly requested are those starting from the EI4021 up to the larger EI9660, made with different types of coils, cores and lamination based on customer needs.
The series with larger dimensions and powers are available on request.
The particular characteristics of these transformers derive from the use of double-chamber coils which guarantee galvanic isolation between the primary/secondary windings up to 5000V AC for 1 minute.
This series of transformers is particularly suitable for applications in the industrial automation sector, motors for gate openers, road barriers and control panels up to home automation.
Production - Production Lines
Production takes place in a single plant through the use of an automatic line supported by 8 manual stations for winding and welding. At the end of the production process all the pieces are subjected to a careful visual inspection by qualified operators and then move to the quality control station for measurements, where they are tested to verify the electrical parameters according to the specifications of the product itself.

Our series of Open Frame transformers (EI) are manufactured in compliance with international regulations on the safety of electronic components (EN61558-A; EN60950) and in line with European and International directives on environmental safety such as REACH and ROHS, as well as directive 2014/35/EU concerning the "CE" marking.
Quality
Electrical and dimensional checks are performed on a sampling basis according to AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) standards, and all detected parameters are recorded in specific modules (test reports) for rapid verification and traceability of the production batch. 100% of the products are tested at the end of production.
